“Vessels’ closest contemporary kindred spirit is probably Caribou, who is currently transferring his own introspective techno into venues the size of the 5000-capacity Brixton Academy. On this captivating form, it would be no surprise were Vessels to follow suit in the not-too-distant future” (The Guardian)

“Resisting the twin urges to oversimplify or over-complicate where inappropriate, Vessels may have succeeded in making one of the smartest and most beguiling electronic albums of the year.” (DIY)

“As a fresh statement from a band that has promised and delivered much in the past, it’s exciting to hear them go down this route.” (The Line of Best Fit)

Hier die neue, zweite Single “Deflect The Light (feat. The Flaming Lips)”:

“Working with the Flaming Lips was a highlight of this whole process. There is no facade; Wayne Coyne lives and breathes the very same eccentricity and optimism that pervades The Flaming Lips’ music, and our entire correspondence start to finish has been a torrent of enthusiasm and silliness. They latched on to the spirit of the music we sent and then amplified it a thousand times over, drenching it in their unmistakeable identity but never eclipsing ours. I am so proud of what we made together.”
