Michael Malarkey, ist ein US-amerikanischer Schauspieler und Singer-Songwriter aus London, ursprünglich aus Beirut stammend.

Der Waschzettel schreibt: “Michael besitzt ein grossartiges Gefühl für Melodien, die auch lyrisch sehr eindringlich sind. Michael’s Baritonstimme mischt sich mit Musik beeinflusst vom frühen Tom Waits und von Townes van Zandt – Nashville liegt manchmal atmosphärisch sehr nah.”

Auf seiner erste Single “Feed The Flames” von 2014, die auch auf der gleichnamigen EP enthalten ist, welche am 12. Oktober 2014 erschienen ist.
Im September 2017 erscheint sein Debütalbum unter dem Titel „Mongrels”. Michael Malarkey sagt selber über die Songs auf seinem Debütalbum:
“‘Mongrels’ represents the many-faced animal within us that is here but never quite from here; the dreamer within us, stricken with wanderlust, who is tuned to the frequencies of change; the nomad within us whose roots grow not in the ground, but in the wind. It represents the mystery of our vagrant nature, at times a source of weakness and at times a source of power.”
