The National
The National ist eine US-amerikanische Indie-Rock-Band aus Cincinnati, Ohio. Seit 1999 aktiv. Frontmann Matt Berninger hat 2014 außerdem mit Brent Knopf das Nebenprojekt EL VY gegründet und ist auch solo unterwegs. Das Brüderpaar Scott und Bryan Devendorf hat mit Ben Lanz von Beirut das Projekt LNZNDRF. Das weitere Brüderpaar Aaron und Bryce Dessner ist ebenfalls in anderen Projekten aktiv, u.a. Aaron mit Taylor Swift und mit Justin Vernon von Bon Iver als Big Red Machine.
